About Us

Performant Websites Ltd provides Managed WordPress Hosting to businesses who require their websites to be always online.

We are a family-run operation – our hosting platform grew from our digital publishing business. We have been running a number of our own high-traffic (100M+ monthly impressions) WordPress websites that derive all their revenue from advertising impressions. Any downtime costs money in lost revenues, so over the years we developed our own robust hosting systems and capabilities to serve our own specific needs; special mention to Gridpane solving a lot of our problems.

Our hosting platform essentially became a business within a business – it made sense to offer these capabilities to others who have similar requirements and so Performant Websites Ltd was incorporated as a separate legal entity in November 2021.

In 2022 we entered the Review Signal WP Hosting Benchmarks contest at the enterprise tier to demonstrate the WordPress hosting capabilities we have developed as a case study.
